Gerry OKane a self employed skilled craftsman for over 15 years set up the business which is now in its third year.

Gerry has identified a niche for specialised custom built, quality sliding doors among the commercial fitted furniture and kitchen sector both in N Ireland and in the Southern Counties along the border.  Gerry has tapped into this and this provides the basis for his business.  He believes that this is a relatively new and growing market which requires innovative customised individual solutions for storage for a discerning consumer base.   

Mr O’Kane now proposes to develop and expand his business to service this new market sector. He has set up a manufacturing unit making bespoke doors for firms throughout Ireland which provide and install fitted furniture directly to the domestic market.   He will also continue to service the local domestic market.

Gerry offers a homemade design service for walk-in wardrobes, sliding door wardrobes and room dividers.  This independent locally owned company insist they will not be beaten on price and all units are custom built in the factory.  They also offer a free 10 year guarantee.  Lux Robes produces its units using high quality aluminium systems for doors offering universality, functionality great ergonomics and durability.
